Severe Weather Chatroom Tonight

Everyone should join in the chatroom around 8pm until Talkin Tropics at 9pm and then reconvene at 10pm in the chatroom. I already got permission from one of the mods for a Severe Weather Only Chat.

You don't have to wait until those times to go to chat. Go anytime! If there's nobody in there talking (there's usually a few people who are "in there" but they're away), don't leave. Just wait. I don't know how many times a bunch of members will come and immediatley leave when nobody's talking and they all miss each other in just a short timeframe. If they had waited to see if someone else joins soon, there'd be a room full of chatters!

You can access the chatroom using Java with this link, or by clicking on Chatroom at the top of the page. It also might be a good idea to bookmark it, so you'll have it if the site is ever down.

There is a privacy pop up that comes up first and you need to select Run.

Its also an IRC chat, so if you have mIRC or Pirch you can use that to chat.

We also have an Off Topic room. It's on the same server. Just type /join #Off_Topic. If you're in Java, it will take you out of Storm2k chat to join the Off Topic chat, but you can be in both with mIRC, etc. You can also open 2 Java windows if you want to be in both as well.
