SUFFOLK, Va. - Three tornadoes ripped through Virginia on Monday, with one hop-scotching across the southeastern part of the state and leaving behind a 25-mile trail of smashed homes, tossed cars and more than 200 injured residents. The twister in this city outside Norfolk cut a fickle, zig-zagging path through neighborhoods, obliterating some homes and spraying splintered wood across lawns while leaving those standing just a few feet away untouched.

The town of Driver, which was basically destroyed by the tornado, is about 15 miles from me and is actually a community that is part of the City of Suffolk.
My city went under a tornado warning and I evacuated my mobile home. It missed me by several miles but the cloud base was VERY low. It is pretty rare to get tornadoes that strong in my area. Mostly they are F0 or F1 with an occasional F2.

Many homes were destroyed in Suffolk VA ..the good thing is it seems no casualties were reported..
Out of the said 200 injured,six were in the critical condition..
