The last of the snow left over from last winter finally melted two days ago and I was looking forward to spring.

Now the snow is back with a vengance! I just took this photo while leaving work. Now it's coming down again!

Grand Junction CO recorded 0.4 inches of snow today, the first time measurable snow has been reported at the airport on May 1.

Not always; it stops snowing sometime in June. :D Here's a photo taken not far from my house on June 4 2005: :D

Actually though, it does get pretty hot here in summer. It does hit the upper 90's in summer, though the nights when it's that hot usually cool to the 30's and 40's, but cloudy nights stay warmer.
