The bright flash, if I had to guess, was a transformer exploding just outside the window? Those videos were impressive...yikes.

One of the local news stations around there has this video of a house being destroyed.

You could see a transformer flash in the house video too.

I noticed how dark it got (so fast!) in the above video - just like the bank.

I sure hope no one was at home when that house went!

An ATM surveillance camera from First State Bank in Parkersburg caught this amazing footage of a house being destroyed by the deadly May 25th EF-5 tornado. The person who lives here was home at the time and was not injured.

Both, the bank and the house, are shown repeatedly on CNN ( in germany ). I think they call it global edition.

I don't know, those pictures Gorky posted are pretty convincing of an EF-5. And there's this picture, foundations wiped clean of any debris.

I question the accuracy of that picture. To sweep those foundations completely clear of debris the winds should have destroyed the trees and sucked the grass from the ground and it did neither. I would guess those two on the left are older slabs from torn down buildings. No telling what was on the one on the right, could have been a modular home which is basically a mobile home on a concrete slab.
