If you have to much rain, send some up here to Port St. Lucie. Stuart got 6"+ but I received about .25 inches in the same time period even though I am only about 5 miles to the north. I watched the thunderheads circle around like buzzards over road kill. Only in Florida!

Too funny, they busted here too, I think today was supposed to be the dry day with higher chances of rain tomorrow, is as if the moisture & energy jumped over SE FL came here a day earlier. Storms were from an easterly direction here unlike the last few days.

There's a little train over key largo now. Last night showers flowing from the straits to the west gave us a good soaking and lightning show, finally. We haven't yet seen the rainy season that I think most of Florida has.

It might not of rained here on the Se coast, but Lake O went from 9.27ft to 9.37ft which matters.

Boca I'm really not worried about Lake O, the summer rainy season will last for another 3 months at least where I am expecting plentiful rain.

I don't know about S Fl but it sure looks like this wave brought in a lot a haze behind it to my area.

Wish I could share your lack of concern but the Lake has been in a level defecit for a long time now thus the water restrictions that we have been under for over a year. Hope they don't let water out again and we actually get the rain we climatologically expect this year. Don't know about you but I am now getting a water surcharge due to the water restrictions. Add this to the $4.00/gallon for gas and it just spirals.
So, I do not share your lack of worry and look forward to plentiful water in our lakes and canals, no surcharge for water usage, unlimited lawn watering with a full Lake O.

We are getting the surcharge because we are doing what we are being asked to do. Conserve. That is so illogical. But, I have turned off my spinklers for the rainy season. So far, no problems with the lawn.
