Just one year ago, Mississippi was in the midst of a record year for tornadoes.
Sixty-eight tornadoes were confirmed from January to mid May 2008.

I have been to the site in Magee where the church was destroyed. Amazing that a structure that well built was destroyed in a matter of moments. It's obvious the church took a direct hit. You should see the water tower in Magee......it's got a dent the size of a small car. As I recall.....the tornado was an EF3.
