Joshua, probably not. I won't doubt people receiving near 6 inches in MO and Kentucky BUT if we took into order what the GFS puts. Then we have 10+ and locally higher amounts.
MANY factors ARE pointing to maybe a wet period.
A) The stalled front bringing up tropical moisture
B) The possibility of a Gulf Coast Tropical Storm
C) What happens with the Remanents of Fabian if it impacts the U.S. Coast
I doubt though that the run of GFS at the top will verify. Too bad this front had to stall south of me
