...RED FLAG WARNING...

DISCUSSION:

SOUTHWEST WINDS FROM 20 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH
ARE EXPECTED ACROSS ALL OF NORTH TEXAS TODAY. THE COMBINATION OF
THESE WINDS WITH THE VERY DRY VEGETATION AND AFTERNOON RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES BETWEEN 20 AND 30 PERCENT WILL RESULT IN A HIGH FIRE
DANGER ACROSS THE NORTHWEST THIRD OF NORTH TEXAS.
