Decent hailstorm just moved through

#1 Postby PTrackerLA » Mon Feb 23, 2004 5:26 pm

About an hour or so ago, marble sized hail fell in Lafayette for about 5 minutes. Then just a few minutes ago with another storm I saw pea sized hail. Happy Mardi gras

Wow PT...what part of Lafayette? I work near the Pinhook Rd./Kaliste Saloom intersection and live near Comeaux High School.

Kathy, I work near downtown and that's where I saw the marble sized hail...and then on my way home a little while ago down Congress street it started hailing pea sized hail. I hope the rain holds off for the parades tomorrow morning but it looks like it could be a washout.

I hope it holds off also. I need to catch alot of beads tonight and tomorrow night so i can replenish my throwing stash! I ran out of beads Saturday night...it was so packed! In the 15 years i've been riding i've never run out! Did ya see me? lol

I'm headed to the Queen's parade shortly...Ch. 3 said there should be a break in the rain!
