Butler County in east central Nebraska
Colfax County in northeast Nebraska
Platte County in northeast Nebraska
this includes the city of Columbus
* until 615 PM CDT
* at 534 PM CDT... radar indicated a severe storm with a possible
tornado. The most dangerous part of the storm was located 5 miles
South of Columbus... moving North at 15 mph.
* Locations impacted include...
Columbus
Richland
Linwood
This is a dangerous situation. Act quickly. If you are in the path of
this tornado go below ground level if possible. Otherwise go to a
small interior room on the lowest floor of the building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT Saturday evening
for southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
