06/01/2004 BERGEN NJ TRAINED SPOTTER

TORNADO ON THE GROUND

it's now just north of LaGuardia Airport after moving over the Bronx.

Only that one tornado report and a handful of 3/4 to 1" hail. The tornado must have been brief. We would know by now had it stayed on the ground.

WOW Any damage reports tho?? I have flown in and out of LGA.

No. Just the one tornado report. The storm passed a couple of miles north of LaGuardia.
