Flash Flood Warnings issued for Houston

#1 Postby HouTXmetro » Sun Jun 13, 2004 7:16 pm

Not sure if the rain is associated with the Tropical system, but Houston is being pounded by training Thunderstorms. NWS has just issued a flash flood warning for the entire county.

Warnings are associated with the "cold" front from Okla. The system is moving south, except for a strong line of storms sitting over the downtown area.

What in the world does that mean? I see southerly winds all the way into Kansas.

There's a seabreeze front over the southeast part of TX. That's what was responsible for this problem.
