Amanzi wrote:*PFFFTTTTTTTT* My theme song for this summer seems to be "from a distance" cause thats all I seem to hear, is distant storms   oh woe is me.. Oh I'll shut up now

We got maybe a sprinkle for 3 minutes and thunder ....

I'm not sure what part of Flagler County your in, If your down toward Flagler beach, Beverly Beach, Palm Coast (well, actually now that I think about it, western parts of Palm coast, west of I-95, may have seen somewhat more) east of I-95 You might not have seen much at all. Areas to the west like Bunnel, Dupont or Espanola got somewhat more.

Guess we need to get the "rain dance" started again. hehe

Tomorrow will offer a better chance with the front close to us. I must admit that I did low-ball the severe weather potential a bit too much this Afternoon, based on warm Mid level temps and weak shear. I discounted the strength of the convergence along the sea breeze boundary (enhanced by the westerly flow) which in combination with the good instability did lead to some isolated severe weather.

On the bright side, we did have quite a light show.

My cast for my area today: Today...Partly sunny in the morning then considerable cloudiness. Numerous afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent
