Yep, that lower red blob is one county over from where I live. I'm leaving work now, so it should be interesting. If it keeps moving in a straight line, it'll be over the areas that were flooded out on Monday. :(

Some people thinks today was a bust because they did it get severe weather in there back yard. The point is in severe weather events in these types of patterns tend to be localise.Just because that anyone person neghberhood did it see severe weather.Does it mean 4 mails away they did it.The tornado watch was issued today because condtions were favorble for the formation of severe thundertorms which had the possabley to produce tornados today. As there has been a few reports all ready of some that thouched the ground today. So the watch was indeed warrented today. You know there are going to be severe thunderstorms that do form. But exacely where they form and end up unfornatey is hard to forecasts. As they can form just about any where. In your location you may have been sunney saying what severe weather. But just 2 mails away. There geting hammered. So that why you have to watch the skys doing severe weather events.Because they can happen with out little warning.

I think that there had been a tornado warning issued for Cumberland County for that particular cell. It ended up drifting southeastward and affected Atlantic County including Atlantic City. I'm glad I left there when I did!

I did drive through a storm close to home. There was alot of lightning - especially cloud to ground.

Today was by NO means a bust. Days like May 11, 2003 -- THOSE are busts.

I wouldn't call it a bust, especially seeing all the Tornado Warnings and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. I didn't get anything noteworthy, but I did get more rain and some nice lightning shows. 3 thunderstorms to be exact, with another one passing just to the south.

I'm trying to break people AWAY from the mentality that "if it didn't happen in MY backyard; it never happened period".
