#1 Postby weatherlover427 » Mon Aug 16, 2004 9:06 pm

The past few days (Thursday - yesterday); southern California has had some major monsoon storms. I did not want to post about this until now because I didn't want to take any of the attention away from Bonnie and Charley. Now that they have passed through; here are the details...

Tornado Reports

1918 14 NNW YUCCA VALLEY SAN BERNARDINO CA 3430 11652 TORNADO LASTED ABOUT 5 MINUTES. 200 YARDS WIDE. (SGX)
1940 PHELAN SAN BERNARDINO CA 3443 11757 CDF AND CHP REPORTED A TORNADO (SGX)

----------------------------- ------------------------------

Hail Reports

1918 175 14 N YUCCA VALLEY SAN BERNARDINO CA 3431 11643 HAIL LEFT DENT IN CAR HOOD. (SGX)
1953 88 PHELAN SAN BERNARDINO CA 3443 11757 (SGX)

(all 4 of these being from the 14th (Saturday)

Flooding was reported in every county except mine over the past few days. Some areas reported 1/4" of rain in as little as 4 minutes   with these storms!
