Moving to Rochester

#1 Postby dg13x » Sat Aug 21, 2004 5:26 pm

Tomorrow I'll be leaving the Jersey shore to attend to University of Rochester for college to study math. Kinda pumped about the about all the snow I'll be seeing. Anyone from the area care to share any interesting weather tidbits?

Well..I'm from just across the border... and if it's snow you wanna see, then it's snow you are gonna see this winter. Rochester NY is probably one of the snowiest cities in the North East.
Soon, you will have stories of your own to tell.

Good luck at college dg13x!

Rochester got about 90 inches last winter. By contrast, Syracuse, and hour east, got 180 inches. Usually, while Rochester gets a decent amount of snow, the heaviest snowfalls are East of Lake Ontario, as you can see in my signature.

Have fun in Rochester!
