UGH 99 degrees in September. You guys could use some fall weather, at least I can tell you all do in the big easy.

We were up to 102° here yesterday supposed to get up to 95° today with hi in the 100's. Thank goodness for the A/C!

Yep---it's Summer's last draw. It doesn't bother me, still. It will turn cool in a couple of weeks. It's part of a great thing about living here...longer growing season and more outdoor life.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday we were in the mid/upper 90's and now it's in the mid 80's with dewpoints in the 50's. I think that was summer's last stand as we should be getting a decent cold front within the next few weeks. We really need the rain around here though...under 2" has fallen since August 1!

It's been awhile since we've had rain---the ground got wet in New Orleans for Ivan, but, no puddles. No significant rain at my house in about 4 weeks.
