...anyone know what to expect from The Storm Formerly Known As Ivan?

All I know is that I'm certain these precip numbers http://www.weather.com/weather/monthly/USTX0499?month=0 are going to change drastically.

I think it's too early to tell, Duck. But there's already a small area of showers in front of post-Ivan that's moving past you and into the more SW coast this morning. Doesn't look too big, tho.

Don't forget to watch that stuff coming in from the NW either. Javier remnants, I think-- they were in AZ and headed to TX although probably not as far south as you are.

I mentioned to somebody in the Hurricane forum earlier that while I don't miss a lot about TX summers, I do miss that first cool deluge of fall that breaks the summer heat wave/dry spell. In Austin, everybody ran into the streets dancing when it hit. I do miss that. ;-)

This morning I heard it is headed for Port Arthur, TX or maybe just a tad E. We are already experiencing coastal flooding here.
