Well....what do ya know? It's Ivan!
No, seriously, I don't even think it's part of TD Ivan, unless it was some sort of outer edge something-or-other that spread from Ivan or something that he pulled in from the Gulf or something somehow related to him (can ya tell I just woke up to this wonderful downpour and haven't even clicked on the news yet?).
We left the Lone Star Rally last night and there was just a slight, humid sprinkle that didn't even last the whole trip home (which was all of about 10 minutes). I wanted to laugh about the ridiculousness of the "amount" of rain we ended up getting.
Then, as I started to stir this morning, thinking through the days plans, I heard the drops begin...and get louder and heavier and now....wow...RAIN!!
Whatever it's from - Ivan or the stuff that was further out in the Gulf, we needed it. I just hope Someone doesn't let Heaven's Sprinklers run for too long. Meanwhile, now I gotta check on the more serious problem for our buddies out east.
Why is there wetness and water outside??????????
