Normal October weather for the northern Virginia region is cool weather then warm weather then cool weather then warm weather.
This October has been plain cold. I have been freezing in my house in the doggone DAYTIME because of all the dark, dank, chilly weather this month.
I am tired of this chilly nonsense. I want a RIDGE all winter in the East.
Today is the first time all month that I have ever observed a SOUTH WIND this month!!! We have suffered through unrelenting North winds all month.
Today's weather was absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!! It was SUNNY, with highs up to 73 DEGREES and dewpoints near 60 DEGREES!!!! SOUTH winds were 5 to 10 mph!!!
I was in total SHOCK!!!! I could hardly believe it!!!!!!
I went outside and savored a 3.7 mile jebwalk!!!! The temperature/dewpoint spread at the time of my jebwalk was 73/60!!!! It felt just like optimum OBX conditions!!!
This was such a nice day!!! Too bad the Mid Atlantic has had to suffer through so much chilly cold weather!!
Hopefully this winter will be very, very MILD and even WARMER than the 2001-2002 winter!!!!
I can't stand all this cold weather, I guess I'm growing up after all LOL!! Well it had to happen sometime!!
