...is a given. Latest 00z QPF chart for the next 5 days has shifted the rain south of me, but with this split flow aloft and impulses of energy being pushed along with plenty of pacific and Gulf moisture inflow coming in....I can believe every bit of it. The PWATS of over 1.7" also helps from BMX soundings.

Much of the Southeastern States, actually could use a decent soaking, and even more so in Florida, which unfortunately may not reap the benefits of a good rainfall with several s/w's embedded in a fast split flow across the Central and Eastern US ...
