Hey, Make sure furry and crew are doing well today  It would be nice to get rid of the rain down in southern cal after today. In the meantime flood threats and a severe/tornado threat exists today.

I believe the severe tsm watch has been issued for southern Cal effective until 3 pm pst. The most intense action is nearing San Diego and Mission Beach as of 10 am pacific.

Not only is it busy in southern Cal, but also into northern Alabam, tennessee, and northern Georgia where severe weather is occurring. A severe wx watch has been extended until 7 PM for northern Georgia, southern Tennessee, northern Alabama, and upstate South Carolina. Large hail and isolated damaging winds are the primary threats in this area. Looks more like a spring setup doesn't it?

It FEELS just like spring down here. The tornado sirens at the school behind our house just went off about 5 minutes ago. There is a "possible tornado" in one of the cells heading right our way!

Here's the latest in our area:

The hail just started in Marietta. Quarter inch in size here.

Edit: And it's over...was quick thankfully. Looks like the worst west to the east of Cobb county.
