This should shape up to be a very busy spring and early summer for much of Tornado alley. With the late season cold spells and the futher intrusion of warm moist gulf air pushing up, dry lines, and upper lows it will cause Severe Weather with what I think will be a high number of Classic and HP Super Cells across much of the Central and Southern Plains as well as the Southeast and Ohio Valley. Texas has already got the party started with last weeks Severe Weather across the Gulf Coast and Last nights Severe Thunderstorms across NTX.

We have already had a wild tornado season here in Houston. We actually have a tornado warning in effect for Ft. Bend and Brazoria counties as I type.

Warnings yes, but to my knowledge no official touchdowns in SE TX.

The season may be a tad more active than usual, but compared to the past few years...... I do not think it will rival the records set last May or the year before.

It's possibly a wild one this season.
