Big Storms Heading Towards Louisiana and Metro NO tonight

#1 Postby Sean in New Orleans » Sat Mar 19, 2005 11:37 pm

They're in Texas tonight, but, by AM, Metro New Orleans will be looking at wild spring weather with torrential rain and severe storms possible. Definitely something interesting to watch tonight... http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p ... khgx.shtml

Since 4 a.m. we've had rain with a few rumbles of thunder but for the most part it's been nothing more than "good sleeping weather" here in SW Louisiana.

Yesterday we were suppose to get these potentially dangerous storms and DH and I rode the Harley till 9:00 p.m. and it was absolutely beautiful.

I guess we've been on the outskirts of these cells and that's just fine with me. New Orleans, I pray you're just as lucky as we've been. :D
