Lowcountry of South Carolina gets drenched again.

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Fri Apr 25, 2003 8:02 pm

After an extended dry period after the almost 5" that fell near the beginning of the month, strong thunderstorms have once again drenched the Lowcountry of South Carolina ... here, I've picked up in excess of 1½" of rain this morning, with some areas (Goose Creek) picking up over 3" of rain. Officially at the CHS WFO only .93", and where I was at today (working at the N. Chas. Post Office very nearby, I can vouche for that ... the prolonged torrential drenching rains crossed through there, but were definitely heavier a little further north (towards here and Goose Creek) with the degree of darkness...
