Getting Very Busy Here in Nebraska/Iowa

Tornado Watch until 1am Wednesday. At 630pm this evening, just a few showers around the Hastings, NE, area. At 650pm, the NWS Hasting had issued three tornado warnings already. :eek:

THose storms have a history of very large hail to baseball size and a few confirmed tornado touchdowns. Right now, Grand Island is under a Tornado Warning. That storm is moving east (towards my area 100 miles east) and has had a tornado sighted with it.

just got home from creighton/nebraska baseball game... saw the gust front coming in while I was a few blocks from my house... pretty much jumped in my car and floored it home! Sadly, the front caught me.

I was walking out to the car on base when the gust front it. 49KT on base. Some limbs down and a lot of debris flying about. Tons of lightning...
