I found several threads with lists of abbreviations, but not these. So apologies for being so blatantly n00b, but could anyone provide the meaning of these abbreviations?

Also, what is the significance of convection?

CINH = convective inhibition
CWA = county warning area
POPS = probibility of precipitation
