Hi All,
When I left for work this morning, the forecast called for partly sunny and high of 88. No rain forecased until tonight. Well, it has been storming off and on here in KC all afternoon. What happened, forecasters?

You are right, Kristi, about the forecasters not being correct this morning. Even the NWS had Pt. Cloudy skies for this afternoon down there, with thunderstorms TONIGHT. That was in there early morning issuance. Obviously, they changed their tune towards late morning.
I was listening to KCMO-AM radio's live stream on the Net. It was very marginal coverage though. I expected wall-to-wall coverage with reporters in the field, but instead it was Dr. Laura with cut ins.
Anyway, I also checked out some of the citycams, particularly KCTV 5's, and they were VERY impressive and wicked-looking.
