NWS Experimental Radar site

#1 Postby senorpepr » Fri May 20, 2005 7:21 pm

There's a new NWS website worth checking out -- experimental radar stuff.

Just click on the radar site…then on the left side…choose a product to display. Has more to offer than the regular radar sites...

The NWS RIDGE program continues to grow as topograph is being added across the country.

Check out this site for more information on RIDGE: http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ridge/SR-11.pdf

...as well as this site for live RIDGE Radar data:

I also forgot to mention, when looping with the NWS RIDGE Radar site, auto-updating is featured as well as live weather warnings.
