Gulf Coast storms

#1 Postby tailgater » Mon May 30, 2005 7:18 am

Gulf coast storms along the Texas/La./Miss. coast are trying to cure the almost drought conditions over the Memorial Day weekend (thanks Vets). All or nothing for south La. :(

Unfortunately while most areas in Louisiana have been getting soaked, we haven't! We have barely had a .50" of rain with this entire event and unless we get pounded today I'm worried that the rains will not have even made a dent in the drought. We're still 11" under for the year.
