Haven't seen a drop it 10 days around here. Looks like if we don't see any rain today or tomorrow it might be another week before we see any. Temps also forecasted to reach the upper 90's by Friday :grrr: , glad I'll be out of town by then!

Well we had to water last night. I told myself I would never water a yard, but it is getting crisp and brown, so have to do a little something to save it.

Of course with the fourth of July coming up, getting nervous, I lived out in a rural area and people shot off fireworks like crazy. So with it as dry as it is, it could be a nerve wracking night.

Well, I'm having to set a regular schedule on my sprinkler system now. I only manually set the days till now. But now with it looking like it may not rain again until September, the plants need their water. But this is what summer is like in this part of Tejas---hot and dry. No use in complaining about it.

I did a double-take myself: had to see if it wasn't an angry bird instead of raindrops...

I live in NJ and we had a week rain free period, but that ended today when the tropical came up here. It's raining steadily right now, and very humid. A lot of rain possible this week along with numerous storms.
