I hate the way the media hypes mobile home destruction...its so annoying we have straightline winds here every year that destroy mobile homes it doesn't take much to tear up a mobile home yet they almost always act as if its a MAJOR tornado that does it when in fact an F1 will do some serious harm to a mobile home.

It's going into suburbs anyway, not downtown...

Crazy -- don't you hate it when you can't get streams to work that are working for other people? Augh.

I agree! I am listening on the radio now that I had from Sunday. Tornado approaching I-24 in north Nashville...pretty rural in that area. It is coming into a more suburban area though.

The big danger now: a major commercial area at I-65 (Exit 97) in Goodlettsville.

Yes, considering it is only 2:15 local time. Sumner County under tornado warning now (no kidding!). Should track just north of Gallatin (population 30,000)

We might be catching a break with this Nashville tornado...it is mostly rural with some scattered houses in that area. It should miss the commercial area.

Tornado touched down on I-65 at Exit 98, just north of Goodlettsville.
