I'm not exactly the most accurate and I tend to be more on the side of caution, hence the larger areas affected. When a major outbreak occurs, I try to post the 1 and 2 day prediction at least twice a day (late morning and late evening usually), with a 3 day prediction (if necessary - not needed now) once a day.

Thats cool, dont ever take offense to what I or anyone else says. We're all here to express opinions and stuff. If someone thinks its being over blown then someone else might point it out, but dont take it personal or anything its just everyone expressing their opinions.

You look on the radial velocity for red and green areas close together. Dark red and dark green signifies major rotation (and greatest potential for a tornado). When you look on a standard radar, look for a section of the thunderstorm cell that punches out - usually on the south or southwest side - like a hook (a so-called "hook echo").

I take it that you mean storm-relative radial velocity?

And the afternoon is still young. The main action is still 1-2 hours away in my opinion.
