*sigh* My weather alert is going off constantly. It hasn't stopped pouring here for many hours. From what I can see in the dark, my yard is a complete lake. You could swim in it! Perhaps I should start gathering up the animals by twos.

What was that about no severe weather, EWG? It's been non-stop all night! Most of them aren't even getting posted from what I can see....there's just so many of them.

The heavy rain just let up here. Not sure how long it will last though. Wish I was dressed already so I could head to work in between the raindrops. However, I'm probably going to have to wade through all the water that usually floods in intersections in front of UTMB. On my street, the curbs are flooded. Pretty windy out there also -- I heard the very pleasant  thud of palm fronds landing on my car from the tree above it.

Stay safe, everybuddy!

The rain is coming down in sheets, slamming against the windows at times. Something loud hit my window a few minutes ago and scared the poo out of me, then I heard something loud hit the roof. It's very windy out there.

Is all that mess in West and Central Texas supposed to head this direction? This is nuts!

yes it is (according to the latest newscast I saw). Supposedly it should bring with it more severe weather and heavy rains. Could get crazy..again.

there is a clear hook echo In Harris co. moving my way! The news just said that this hook echo was very impressive and could possibly indicate a STRONG tornado on the ground!
