Hit 47ºF at 3 am in Houston at the big airport before bouncing back a couple of degrees. B-r-r-r-r-r.
26ºF in Tallahasee, and 34ºF in Jacksonville for morning lows, so it is even more miserable in Florida.
SE Texas should be in the low 80s by the end of the week, as winter slowly loses its icy grip on the Lone Star State.

Re: Florida Weather Thread-80's by the weekend!
A week of temps in the 80s and lows in the 60s and 70s will take care of any slight dip that took place this week...rest-assured, come June 1, the waters off of Florida will be 80+ degrees.
Plus water temps are above March norms as detailed in the link below...most are running at early to mid April norms for Florida

Just had to prove me an idiot; I was hoping not to hear that the SST around FL are higher than the normal SST's...

Just wanted to make a graph that looks nice!!!
I know that the official warning is only for the Panhandle but it's dry across the entire state.

If I ever become homeless, I need to head for the Florida Keys- looks like it stays comfortable there even during cold snaps.

Monroe County has a world famous emergency management team, I'm sure the homeless would be bused to Miami.

If that Watter Vapor Image was in the prime hurricane season, STORM2K MB would have to act as an on-line crisis hotline...

I just hope the S2K servers can handle the massive traffic that a Cat 3 hurricane, say, hypothetically, Hurricane Kyle, would bring approaching Miami on October 10th from the South.
