If only it was doing this in scenic SW Austin!

Aw man, enjoy it! I'm happy for y'all up north. Snow flying and it's not even Thanksgiving.

Come on folks, anyone seeing snow out there in Tarrant county? We need to make sure it's not dandruff.

Pretty much what I expected from this storm, but there will be more to come this season! I am still waiting for the next big one....

Man...I miss that. That was such an insane storm. THE FLAKES WOULDN'T STOP! It was like a never-ending Head & Shoulders commercial.

Snow in Corinth, very lite. Cars and some grass. Looks like we are done. So I thought this was odd, or just a statement of the recent cold we have had. The snow seemed to be blowing across the parking lot, not sticking or melting necessarily. Just found that a bit early in the season and rare by Texas standards to begin with. Quite the early cold snap, hopes of more to come.

Got a pic for wxman57 :D

Any chance the southern edge of the precip hits the north Austin area?

Another band just kicked up behind it. Hopefully it will clip everyone with some novelty sneaux.

First "snowfall" of the season here on the hill! It looks pretty neat, especially for it only being the middle of November! I let my out dog out in it, and he didn't seem to understand what was going on.

No, not really. The evening forecast discussion out of EWX speaks to the possibility and it is very remote at best. Don't worry Wntrwthrguy, I'm confident we'll have a few opportunities of our own coming this winter.

I'm pulling for the cold wx. I can still win our first freeze contest if it freezes at IAH tonight on tomorrow night. Pretty good chance of that. After that, I'll take my mid 90s again. Unfortunately, I'm thinking that the winter of 1976-1977 is a good analog for this winter. Extremely cold one east of the rockies. Mississippi River froze down to St. Louis and New Orleans reported ice in the river. Snowed in Miami that winter...
