Hi all! Thanks a lot guyz & gyrlz for keeping this thread going and updated! I was just looking back at when I started this thread on Aug. 23rd of last year and realized that today Lake O is very close to the height of 12.83 ft. that it was back then(mostly due to tropical storm Fay)! Normally, operating levels for the lake are between 12.5 and 15.5 ft which is a safe range for the Herbert Hoover Dike structure. So based on the daily increases we have been seeing with the consistent precip we've been getting, I'd say we should probably be stepping into the entry level of normal operating lake height by tommorow with an extra 3ft. to play with!!!

You are welcome. This is important stuff to the locals. Hopefully, the water restrictions will ease for the commercial opperations. ( I am of the opinion that home owners water too much anyways. Our "grass" is little more than a weed.) Now, if the SFWMD could learn from this experience and improve the regulations, that would be great.

I'm sorry vbhoutex, but I don't quite understand what you're asking! Here is a link that might help! P.S.: there is no such thing as a stupid question!
