The leading edge already has passed through here in central Montgomery County. All bark and no bite for my area thankfully. The leading edge produced maybe a 45 mph wind but it only last for 5 seconds or so. Behind that gust the bottom fell out big time with some serious rain and small hail. The very heavy rain might of lasted 10 minutes but it has really slacked off. I see that there is a tornado warning out just off to the north of me...nothing here thankfully. I wanted an old fasion thunderstorm and that's what I got. I'm happy!

I am hoping this moves through by 10AM this morning in Galveston County. Judging ribs and brisket at the Galveston Co Fair and Rodeo all day......rain or shine.
