Wind has died down up here but the clouds are thicker now. Sprinkle a little bit ago.

Hang on to your hats! I went to go out side and almost got a leaf in my mouth. Wind was at least 40mph, rain was coming and going every which way. Awning was taken half out. Dont know if the rain gauge is still there :P . Street light went out. Cat got soaked looking out the window (rofl).

Very Strong Winds moved through, the power went on/off 4 times. That was
some intense wind. It looked at least 45 mph perhaps a brief gust
to 60 mph when the power flickered (this is just from looking at the wind, this
is not an accurate measurement, this is just from LOOKING in the dark).

Not much heavy rain, just high wind.

Hurakan you will get some heavy storms tomorrow morning in my opinion.
The squall line is very strong and is moving into Fort Myers and soon
will move into Naples. It will reach SE Florida after midnight and around
3-7 A.M. If it stays very strong with
those bowing shapes in the front, you can expect strong
40-60 mph winds with the stronger storms IMO Hurakan.

The area of convection is a heavy ball shape, indicative of deep
wind intensity and strong storms. This is almost like a convection driven
frontal storm, with wind being a big factor.
Not that much rain here, it was a wind event PRIMARILY.

In my opinion for Hurakan, the squall line could start dying out or split after midnight, most convection could stay to his west and north, maybe a better chance of storms for SE FL tomorrow with early daytime heating and the outflow boundary hanging around.

Yes that is certainly possible. That daytime heating can really
get that convection going.

Yes, windy and about 10 minutes or so of fairly heavy rain. Looks like more on tap for tomorrow as well.

Wow, surprisingly the line made it through SE FL very early in the morning.

Question: Is this second burst going to effect SFL eventually?
