BTW: I also read a NWS report of gusts to 65mph from one of those storms. However, the SPC does not have that listed yet I guess. (8:42pm update - The SPC just added that wind report).

Thanks for the report, I know a couple of them storms where looking nasty earlier as they pushed just E of Amarillo,Tx.
I seen one cell where the dBZ where in between 65 and 70. Rain was pooring with that storm cell. Looking not quite that strong now, but the last time I checked there was still several " Severe Thunderstorm Warnings " out.

With now 17 severe reports tonight, I am quite surprised that there was no "slight risk" ever issued for the Texas Panhandle region today (or a severe T-storm watch).
Should be interesting to see what their next Day 1/2 outlooks look like though when they are issued later tonight/tomorrow morning...

Latest DAY 1 Outlook from the SPC:
Looks like severe weather will continue in west and central TX tomorrow. The big question though will be the Day 2 outlook. It should be interesting to see if the slight risk zone is possibly shifted east for the Monday (Day 2) outlook.
Update: The day 2 outlook is still just a "see text" from the SPC. However, as we have seen, this doesn't mean much. We will have to see how this evolves in the coming days.
