I know, I go to Florida every year and during this drought it's constantly watching the sky and hoping every afternoon.

Its the time of year where should be getting something that might look like it might have a chance before going poof.

And it will get more attention then a storm that kills 78,000+ people.

I was just on my front lawn in my loin cloth, dancing, to try to get a few drops of rain. Here in south central florida there is not a cloud in the sky. Popcorn has more moisture than my lawn.

How to Do a Rain Dance

1. Never do a rain dance on a hill.
2. Make sure you have a lot of room so you
don't run into anything.
3. Spin around in clockwise circles.
4. Make up your own rain chant. It should be rythmical
and easy to say fast.
5. Yell your rain chant while spinning around in circles.
6. If you are trying to get rid of rain, spin in
counterclockwise circles and say your chant backwards.

No offense but if you don't want to discuss then please stay off the thread. Nobody here is saying this will blow up into a major hurricane or anything, we're just blob watching and discussing. I thought that's what we do on a TALKIN TROPICS forum but I guess I'm wrong?

Anyways, been storming on and off all day here. Wish I could send it down south where it's really needed.

You're right but this is a cold front, so technically it would be more appropriate for the USA weather forum.

In fact if this becomes a Tropical Sytem I'll wear an FSU avatar until the next named storm forms.

Stop spinning counterclockwise, you don't have to obey the Coriolis Effect.
