NWS Miami thinks that mose of the severe dynamics will stay to our north...(ie central Florida to northern Florida) tomorrow but I'm not so sure. With all of the surface heating we're going to get (85F today and foreast for tomorrow) if the low develops as the GFS suggests...we'll have plenty of upper support for rotating storms trough most of the state tomorrow....even if mid-level temp are not as cold as you'd want to see.
Regardless...overnight...folks in central Florida should pay attention. I HATE situations like this when severe is possible after most people go to bed. Although long-track dangerous tornados are unlikely...a watch could go up overnight none the less.

Though I have NOAA Weather Radio alarm that is louded than my dog's bark, I have been known to sleep through alerts. (My unit automatically turns itself on and off--when the warning message ends.) When the 10pm weather segment says something to the affect of isolated tornadoes possible overnight, I stay awake until the threat diminishes.

I hate to keep bringing up 1998 but it flashes before me everytime nasty weather is here lol
Ironically, in that same year, I was living in an apartment at the time with my family. I believe we had a tornado watch out, but mainly strong winds and large hail were occuring. Sitting out in the family room with the tv going and the lights on, watching weather coverage. CLICK! Power goes out, dark as night (lol!), and the stupid battery backup was beeping from the otherside of the room. I had to crawl over and shut the darn thing off.

I don't blame you...especially in NE. We get maybe an f2 if conditions are just right...you can get the monsters up there.
