In August of 2024, Cleveland, Ohio will see a total solar eclipse. 20 years from now, mark that on your calender and hopefully I'll see it too.

If you don't mind driving a little ways, you could see one before that. In August 2017, a total solar eclipse will cross the US from Portland, OR, to Charleston, SC.

The 2024 eclipse will have a longer duration, however.

But neither of them compare to the 6-minute August 2045 eclipse that will be coming through my neighborhood.

I hope you plan on going in sometime soon!!hehehehe It's gonna be a while till the next solar eclipse.
Well, some parts of the Southern US will get a look at the partial phase of the hybrid total/annular eclipse next April. Best viewing along the Gulf Coast, with about 50% magnitude in the Keys. The total phase will be in the South Pacific and won't reach any landmass until it becomes annular near sunset in Costa Rica and Panama.
Partials aren't really that exciting, at least not until you get to about 75%, but I'll still be out there.
