Yeah I heard that some areas in Austin got hail to BASEBALL size! Looking at the radar it looks like those same supercells are beginning to track into the area closer to Houston. Could get interesting out here too.

I noticed earlier that Austin has been getting nailed. Send some of that this way please!

^^Houston is under a MCD!^^

Looks like those supercells ARE heading this way and new severe development is possible in this area during the next 1-2 hours! The main event is still going to likely be overnight though.

As these initial supercells weaken...I am worried that they may spit out an outflow boundry. If they do...then we may see some big time storms erupt quickly in the Houston area.

Yes, I am VERY surprised there has not been a tornado report yet. That thing HAS to be producing a tornado.

that cell that went through austin looks to be on track for a big hit on Conroe if it holds together. Also, it's sothern end could flirt with northern Harris County and lead to quite a lightning show.

Yep, it's almost heading ESE. If it's a right-turner it could become tornadic.

Here too - includes Hardin, Tyler, Jasper, and Newton counties. Hardin County is the county just north of Jefferson County, so I'm sure Jefferson County will be added a bit later.

I like this trend, let's hope these storms keep moving east. Watch out Houston and vicinity though, that tornadic cell could impact north Houston within 2 hours.

I'm watching the cells just west of me. I'm just south of the Lake Conroe Dam area and it looks like we will ger rocked very soon. We've got a nice healthy cell fixing to come through and right on it's heels is the tornadic cell following the same path. The pucker factor is starting to set in. lol I'll let y'all know how this unfolds.

I am kind of mad because it looks like both cells will go north of me. Hopefully I will atleast get a good light show, and may be a few new cells can form south of the current two.

I'm watching the line between Austin and Waco that is starting to punch SE. This could take over as the main squall line as the night progresses.

Yeah that line is going to skim my area .... I'm in very far northern Travis County. We're seeing more development out west in the Hill Country. I tell you it has been a very "interesting" afternoon around here.

I hope y'all in SE Texas and SW La. get some of the rain we got ... at least. You could probably do without the golfball to baseball hail and tornadoes.
