Well it's a disputed rating now I think it's a EF-5 then again it was a beast on radar like the Moore,OK 2013 EF-5. I hope the rating system is changed for wind speeds though just because it did not obliterate everything in sight does not mean its not a EF-5. The other El Reno tornado was rated EF-5 partly due to wind speed measurements.

We are still on pace for the lowest tornado count year since tracking has begun. With only two months left we may get that honor if we end up with less than 944 count. We'll need a couple of crazy outbreaks to boost the count up, but that's not as likely to occur this time of year compared to the spring. In tandem with the Hurricane season something is going on in the atmosphere that is shutting off these violent storms in 2013 statistically.

Disclaimer: This is a broad look at the entire year by count. Not individual tornadoes that effect lives and property
Overall tornadoes, hurricanes, exceptional heat, and wildfires have not been abundant in 2013. It's been the year that has lacked the big multi billion dollar disasters for the US compared to the past several.

I saw that one early on on CBC news. Nice music at the beginning to go with it, should have turned it right up. Unfortunately, this video suffers from vertical syndrome
