7 tornado reports so far, but it seems like the SPC data is not complete. According to the local news, there have been 1-3 other tornadoes in the Houston area that are not on this list:

Anyone else notice that even with all the rain it's been holding in the low 80's all day? Definitely tropical air being carried up here.

This gauge is right down the street from my house. Dave's out doing some sight-seeing at the moment. Only seen it that high a couple times in 26 years...

Latest update From Jeff:

NWS has extended the flash flood warning until 430pm for Waller, Harris, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, and Liberty counties.

Widespread 5-8 inches of rain has fallen today and rain continues to develop and train NNE across the area.

Flooding is being reported areawide with several watersheds at or above bankfull.

US 59 is impassable near Livingston from overflowing creeks.

Lake Creek in central Montgomery County is over 12 feet above flood stage and significant rises on the W folk of the San Jacinto River is likely.

An additional 2-4 inches of rainfall with isolated amounts of 4-6 inches will be possible through early evening. Such rains will worsen already ongoing flooding. Threat for training of excessive rainfall remains high.

Tornado threat also remains with a Watch through 700pm. Low topped fast moving supercells continue to produce small tornadoes across the area.
