FLASH FLOOD WARNING for Johnson and Tarrant Counties until 2:45PM CDT.

RIVER FLOOD WARNING for Trinity River on/near the following cities in Texas: Dallas, Rosser, & Trinidad. East Fork of San Jacinto; Neches River South of Diboll, Texas; Attoyac Bayou near Chireno, Texas until Further Notice.

Flash Flood Watch for all of North Texas until 10:00PM CDT

Man, this is gonna be a busy week! The Ft. Worth Zoo was flooded out yesterday, luckilly no human or animal was hurt.

CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTHWESTERN TARRANT
COUNTY. THE STORMS EXTENDED FROM NEAR WHITE SETTLEMENT...TO EAGLE
MOUNTAIN LAKE...TO HASLET. MOVEMENT WAS NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. RADAR
INDICATES THAT UP TO 3/4 INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER WESTERN
TARRANT COUNTY SINCE 915 AM. THIS WILL AGGRAVATE THE FLOODING

Severe Weather Statement, Severe Thunderstorm Warning

Severe Weather Statement:


Issued at: 1:01 PM EDT 7/7/04, expires at: 1:30 PM EDT 7/7/04

A severe thunderstorm warning continues until 115 pm edt for Vance County.

At 101 pm edt, doppler radar indicated severe thunderstorms over Williamsboro, or about 9 miles northwest of Henderson, moving northeast at 15 mph. Locations in the path of these storms include Kerr Lake, Townsville, Bullocksville, Kerr Lake, and, Drewry.

Radar indicates this storm is producing large hail and wind gusts in excess of 65 mph. Boaters on Kerr Lake should quickly move to port.
A severe thunderstorm can produce large damaging hail, damaging winds in excess of 58 mph, deadly lightning, and very heavy rain. Go inside a sturdy shelter. Move to an interior room and stay away from windows.

Penny sized hail and winds in excess of 58 mph are likely with this storm. Locations impacted include, Williamsboro, Tungsten, Townsville, Kerr Lake, Bullocksville.

The NWS in Raleigh has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for: northeastern Cumberland County in central North Carolina

Until 615 pm EDT.

At 540 pm edt, national weather service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm over wade, or about 12 miles northeast of Fayetteville, moving southeast at 5 mph. Penny sized hail and winds in excess of 58 mph are likely with this storm. Locations impacted include, rural eastern Cumberland County Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall are likely with this storm. Take cover in a sturdy building until the storm has passed. Report severe weather to the nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the national weather service forecast office in Raleigh.

At 732 pm edt, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm over Medoc Mountain State Park, or about 16 miles west of Halifax, moving east at 10 mph. Nickel sized hail is likely with this storm. Locations impacted include, Glenview, Beaverdam, Enfield,
The main threat with this storm is penny size hail or larger. Hail of this size may cause some vehicle or roof damage. Strong and gusty winds can also be expected with this storm. The NWS in Raleigh has issued a

severe thunderstorm warning for: southwestern Harnett County in central North Carolina Until 745 pm EDT.

At 719 pm EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm over Pineview, or about 11 miles northwest of Fort Bragg, moving south at 5 mph. Quarter sized hail and winds in excess of 58 mph are likely with this storm. Locations impacted include, Overhills.
A severe thunderstorm can produce large damaging hail, damaging winds in excess of 58 mph, deadly lightning, and very heavy rain. Go inside a sturdy shelter. Move to an interior room and stay away from windows.

severe thunderstorm warning for: northern Nash County in central north carolina Until 845 pm EDT.

At 804 pm EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm 11 miles west of Red Oak, or about 10 miles northwest of Nashville, moving east at 20 mph. Penny sized hail and winds in excess of 58 mph are likely with this storm.
Locations impacted include, Red Oak, Dortches, Salem, Gold Rock.
A severe thunderstorm can produce large damaging hail, damaging winds in excess of 58 mph, deadly lightning, and very heavy rain. Go inside a sturdy shelter. Move to an interior room and stay away from windows.

Flash Flood Warning:


Issued at: 8:17 PM EDT 7/8/04, expires at: 9:45 PM EDT 7/8/04

The NWS in Wakefield has issued a


flash flood warning for: Bertie County in northeast North Carolina Northampton County in northeast north carolina Until 945 pm EDT.

At 817 pm EDTt, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with extremely heavy rain along a line extending from Aulander to 18 miles west of Rich Square, or along a line extending from Aulander to Halifax, moving east at 15 mph.
Thunderstorms producing flash flooding will be near, over Rich Square by 905 pm EDT over aulander by 935 pm EDT.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area, with the primary threat areas from extreme southern Northampton County into northwest Bertie County. A spotter reported a total rainfall 2.5 inches from a thunderstorm just south of Lasker in Northampton County.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads and farmlands along the banks of creeks, streams and other low lying and poor drainage areas.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Vehicles caught in rising water should be abandoned quickly. Move to higher ground.
A flash flood warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. If you are in the warning area move to higher ground immediately. Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. Do not attempt to cross swiftly flowing waters or waters of unknown depth by foot or by automobile.
To report flooding, have the nearest law enforcement agency relay your report to the national weather service forecast office in Wakefield.
