12Z GFS does move The High Pressure of Death back over Northwest Texas and Oklahoma in 3 days.

AccuWx PPV GFS MOS, says once rain ends Wednesday, it stays ended (excluding one or two 0.01 inch 6 hour totals) for the rest of the 15 day period.

Nothing at all today here, everything has been well to my north or east. Disappointing considering today is our highest chance of rain all week and it's party cloudy right now without a single shower even heading this way. At least it's only 93 right now. :grr:

High today at the house - 98ºf. Thought we were going to have to pull out the blankets to keep warm. :cheesy: Copius, but not total, cloud cover has helped keep our temps down. Now if those clouds would only produce some rain. We would be :rain: :sprinkler: :jump:

Storms are blowing up right now over the I-10 corridor into Lafayette. Knocking on my doorstep as we speak, don't want to jinx anything though lets see what happens.

I think I'll miss out again, unless the outflow boundary from the North gets active in a hurry...

FINALLY a REAL rainfall, it's been about 5 weeks for my area!!! Could have picked up an 1" with the storm that just moved through, started off moderately then came down very hard for a good bit. Looks like possibly another cell on the way too. Keep this coming!!!!! :ggreen:

Lots of thunder and lightning earlier (5:30-6ish), looked at radar and watched heavy cells blow up from nothing to solid red in the short loop. They were growing and looked like I might be getting them on radar, but it only rained for a few seconds, didn't even wet the pavement! It was POURING very near here. To add insult to injury, the storm (that gave me no rain) took my electricity. It went out a little before 6:00 and came back a few minutes ago. It was hot!

Once again, my parents and my sister got in on the action and I got dissed. They're about 10 or so miles from here. Glad for them, sucks for me. I even put away the sprinkler yesterday morning, with fairly high chances both days. Nada.

Glad to have that cool A/C back, though!

And now there's a lot of lightning to my north, but looking at radar, it's all passing north of here, as usual, to my south, east, west, or north,. Again. bleh!
