It's all north of here so far, but maybe some of it will make its way further south. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

.UPDATE...
ON GOING CONVECTION IN EAST TEXAS ASSOCIATED WITH OVERNIGHT MCS HAS
SLOWLY WEAKENED THIS MORNING EVIDENT BY WARMING CLOUD TOPS AND
REGIONAL RADARS. THE REMNANT VORT CENTER AND OUTFLOW FROM THE

AFTERNOON
ACROSS OUR REGION. MODIFIED 12Z SOUNDING SHOWS RICH
MOISTURE OF PW VALUES NEAR 2 INCHES WITH CAPE VALUES AROUND 4000
J/KG AND TRIGGER TEMPS AROUND 88. MODERATE UNIDIRECTIONAL WSW FLOW
SUGGEST POTENTIAL FOR ORGANIZATION INTO LINES WITH WET MICRO BURSTS
POTENTIAL AND LIMITED SVR HAIL DUE TO HIGH WET-BULB ZERO HEIGHT OF
14K. BEST POTENTIAL FOR STORMS WILL BE NORTH OF HWY 190. SPC HAS
HIGHLIGHTED MOST OF THE AREA IN A SLIGHT RISK FOR SVR THIS
AFTERNOON.
LOWERED TEMPS A FEW DEGREES ACROSS NORTHERN ZONES DUE
TO INCREASED CLOUD COVER AND HIGHER POPS.

I'm finally about to get a quick storm/shower :-)

It looks like northern Harris/Southern Montgomery is the favored development area in the short term.

I'd love to upload a radar shot but imageshack is acting-up.

I can see the outlfow boundry pretty clearly on the BV product (doppler velocity). It runs E-W from near Liberty to just south if IAH to near Bellville. In Houston, it's just north of the Beltway, slowly moving south.

Looking at BV product, the outflow has pretty-much pulled stationary now. It has pivoted a bit across Harris County...meaning the eastern part has moved just ever so slightly south across Lake Houston, while the western end towards Cypress has retreated back north just a tad. I hope this makes sense.......anyway, it is pretty much stationary now across northern Harris County so I'll be looking for additional development there, if there is any...

Anyway, looks like a new cell along the outlfow near Giddings. Will there be more further east closer to home later? Time will tell...

While I would like some more rain, I am very happy to see on radar the rain moving into South Texas. Looks like ares South and South East of Uvalde are getting some well needed rain.

If it doesn't rain by the time I get home, it is mow, then run the sprinkler.

Watched radar this morning, showers came w/i a couple of miles of the house, but avoided it completely.

The orange tree has a lot of green oranges now, it has to be thirsty.

I just got done mowing, and watering, now the Houston radar is starting to look interesting again, with storms in a line from northeast - southwest moving east.

Those same storms to the north of here that I mentioned a few hours ago are still pounding them. It seems to be re-developing and training over the same areas.
