Well yes, I know the dynamics were in place but what dynamics were in place for severe to form over the same areas? It definately wasn't daytime heating of course.

yes, it is completely clear here in spring too (and getting hot). I think there is a good chance the instability can recover enough to bring another round of storms this evening.

This is getting ridiculous! We just had our third MCS in 3 days roll through town. Third day of hail and flooding rains. Not griping about the rain but the severe part.

Was just looking at the radar and noticed that!! I was there for Thursday night and Friday morning storms. There was a TVS signature on the system while it was out near Lakeway and SW of there. Any reports of a sighting?

No. NWS said mostly straight-line wind damage last few nights, however law enforcement did spot a tornado early this morning near Burnet.

Small hail ... pea to nickel size.

Nothing like what you had at your place a few days ago!!

Tonight's episode caused some flash flooding in northern parts of the city ... feeder roads under water, low water crossings flooded, etc.

Looks like some stuff popping up out in West Texas... Wonder if we are going to have to keep an eye on it for later?

It seems like almost everyday this past week storms build up in the WEst and seem to reach ETX during the early morning hours. Hate having a good night's sleep interupted by house shaking thunder. Leaves one a little drowsy the next day.
Wished we'd get just a few days break so I can get my swimming pool redone. Just as they get ready to start working it rains and they have to pump the water out the next day only to have night time storms replace what they pumped out.
Guess one shouldn't complain since Im sure we will be begging for rain in a few months.

Funny.. I have been sick for the past few days with a cold or something.. and I have been taking Lunesta, which by the way works exellent!!...but I have heard the thunder, I think, and it does not interrupt my sleep... Actually I have totally spelt through the past few morning rounds of storms to awake mad cause I missed them... lol..

yankeegirl, this line is definately holding its own and then some. I don't see this line dieing completely off before entering our area. Something to keep an eye on.

I would drfinatley have to agree with you... Since I am up, cant sleep, I am going to keep an eye on it and hope it makes it into the area... We really need some more rain... Last I looked at it, it looked like it was not dying down at all but kind of regenerating... We will see...
